When it comes to your relationship, it’s important to set and communicate healthy expectations. Healthier expectations are focused on the positive facets of the relationship instead of the undesirable. You and your lover both have distinctive priorities and may have different anticipations of each different. It’s important to talk clearly about these differences so you can both work at a healthy relationship.

Unfit expectations are often times a result of unconscious pain or insecurities. These issues can be linked to unmet requirements in your youth, such as abandonment, abuse, or neglect. When your expectations will be unrealistic, you may turn into frustrated or even just depressed. This could cause a chain reaction that can choose a relationship difficult to sustain.
